Precision SURE-LOCK® was formed by the merger of two companies specializing in various areas of the same-served markets. Precision Screw Products, established in 1946, enjoyed a well-known reputation in wedge anchoring products. Post Tension Product Manufacturing, established in 1991, produced many of the same products but also manufactured equipment that was needed by industry participants. These pioneering companies produced anchorage products for decades with remarkable precision and quality. In 2002, these two companies formed Precision SURE-LOCK® and that same commitment to excellence continues today. In 2006, Precision was acquired by Actuant providing world class global reach and resources. Actuant is traded on the NYSE under the symbol ATU. PSL serves the Post-Tensioning, Pre-Tensioning and Mining/Geotechnical markets, while providing specialized parts to other industries as well.

Precision SURE-LOCK® has two manufacturing facilities with extensive machining capacity and capability. With over 60,000 sq ft of manufacturing and warehouse space, we are the largest producer of chucks and wedges in North America.

The SURE-LOCK® brand is the most trusted and recognized brand in the industry. We provide over 400 anchorage products including wedges, chucks, anchor plates, stressing rams, hydraulic pumps, tools, accessories and equipment. All SURE-LOCK® strand chucks and wedges are manufactured in-house, using only the highest quality steel. Components are heat-treated and tested to rigorous specifications, including 100% magnaflux inspection and individual load-testing to ensure reliable performance.
