Precision manufactures the 5DA1 and 6DA1 Series Jacks from a single piece of hardened steel to exacting specifications. The result is a durable, lightweight, and compact stressing jack. These attributes make the 5DA1 and 6DA1 the jacks of choice for elevated construction projects.
The 5DA1 and 6DA1 jacks are double-acting, extending and retracting rapidly under hydraulic power. Both jacks use power wedge setters to seat the wedges into the anchor. After the desired stressing pressure is achieved, the valve on the pump is switched to the retract position. The valve maintains pressure on the strand. Engaging the pump causes the wedge setter to push forward and seat the wedges; when a preset pressure is achieved, the jack will then begin its return stroke.
Precision Post Tension, LP produces the 5DA1 and 6DA1 jacks from a single piece of hardened steel to exacting standards to produce a lightweight and durable stressing jack. These are the jacks of choice for elevated construction projects because of their compact and lightweight design.

The 5DA1 jack is a 20 ton jack and stresses tendons up to .5" in diameter. Smaller diameter tendons may be stressed by changing the jack grippers to accommodate smaller diameters.
The 6DA1 jack is a 30 ton jack and stresses tendons up to .6" in diameter. Like the 5DA1, smaller diameter tendons may be stressed by changiing the jack grippers.
The 5DA1 and 6DA1 jacks are double-acting, meaning the jacks open and retract using hydraulic power. Both jacks use power wedge setters to seat the wedges into the anchor. After desired stressing pressure is achieved, the valve on the pump is switched to the retract position. Pressure is maintained on the tendon by the valve of the pump. By engaging the pump, the wedge setter pushes forward to seat the wedges and when a preset pressure is achieved, the jack will then begin its return stroke.
